Reflection on Da Word- graffiti artist

Before you get going on blogging about technology and its relationship to popular/sub popular culture, I'd like you to briefly reflect on the Da Word graffiti artist by Tonouchi. What isues do you think he raises? What issues did you like or dislike about what he says? What did you think about the language he uses and what questions did this reading raise for you?

Hard Reading

The reading we had to do was hard. It was hard bc I really couldn’t understand what the guy was saying. I guess since I’m not used to how they speak in Hawaii, it was really difficult for me to understand. I thought overall though it was a good reading. It was really sad to hear what happened to his cousin bc they were so close. I like the fact that since he was a little kid he was always drawing and making art his way. Also, when the administration’s office was asking him if he ever go arrested I thought that was kind of rude to ask him that. Obviously he’s not in jail because he was there I thought that was very irrelevant for him to ask that question. I like the fact that he wanted to be just like coco every since they were kids. Since Coco pasted away I like that Haki is now perusing being an artist.
