Reflection on Da Word- graffiti artist

Before you get going on blogging about technology and its relationship to popular/sub popular culture, I'd like you to briefly reflect on the Da Word graffiti artist by Tonouchi. What isues do you think he raises? What issues did you like or dislike about what he says? What did you think about the language he uses and what questions did this reading raise for you?

Technoloy

The two types of technology I use are: facebook, and my cell phone. I’m always on either one of those. It’s really sad how much I use my phone for everything I do. It can be just looking up how to spell a word and my phone will help me out. Now with facebook, everyone is on facebook im always talking to someone on there or I see a new post on there I am addicted. These two types of technology I think are party of popular culture because everyone has a cell phone or facebook. But I feel that if there was no facebook or phones life would be a lot simpler in the way that no one would know where you are at all times. I wish I can go back and never make a facebook or ever have a cell phone I would live in peace knowing that no one can get a hold of me at all times. The fact that little kids now have cell phones and facebook’s are a little ridiculous that someone at the age of 7 has a cell phone that is more high tech than the phone I have. I never had a cell phone at the age of 7 I only just got a really nice cell phone this year and I’m 20. My parents always knew where I was I didn’t have a cell phone at the young of an age. Even young kids on facebook I think is wrong, facebook was meant for college students to keep in touch after college, not to know what “Kelly” is wearing and how drunk she is going to get. Facebook has now become into a joke I think, I only keep mine to keep in touch with old friends from elementary school or my friends from High School.
