Reflection on Da Word- graffiti artist

Before you get going on blogging about technology and its relationship to popular/sub popular culture, I'd like you to briefly reflect on the Da Word graffiti artist by Tonouchi. What isues do you think he raises? What issues did you like or dislike about what he says? What did you think about the language he uses and what questions did this reading raise for you?

language of da man

Ok well I really liked / enjoyed the way he talks and or writes. Da language dat he uses is so unique and diff you just don’t read material like that ery day. I like it cause at time I catch myself talking sim to his dis, dat, da and dare talking. My gf at first just thought I was trying to talk like an idiot. but it’s just so much ezer to cut words up like he dose make em shorter and they also sound a lot cooler. It gives his writing a personality something that distances his from others writing and it also shows that he has a personality without even knowing him. When leo first intro this readin to me I read the first few lines and his lang ust made me wan to read more. His writing reminds me of texting like texting is a whole new type a talking and it has its own type of language. Just like Lee Tonouchi

  1. Im gonna have to kindly disagree with you sir....I think it is very hard to read...some things are easy to read, while some words just leave you confused, and stuck on trying to figure out what it says/means.
