My Technology
Two types of technology that I use are my navigation system and my cell phone. I really like my navigation system because it always gets me where I need to go. I have never had a problem with it taking me to the wrong destination. The part about it that bothers me though is that, I know it’s making me very lazy by having access to it. I’m never truly going to learn my way around NY! I also get pretty annoyed when she repeats stuff, I tend to curse and yell at it as if it is a real person. As for my cell phone, I just feel the need to have it with me at all times pretty much. This seems kind of crazy to me because I know there was a big chunk of my life where a cell phone did not exist, so what’s the big need for it now? It almost gives me a feeling of security knowing that I have my cell phone with me and I can call someone at a moments notice if need be.

I think gps are also a good thing but at the same time i hate it. Especially that dumb beep. She is also saying re calculating, like it never told me to turn. sometimes it show you driving on the landscape. Just in case i dont have a cheap gps system. i got it at bestbuy lol. aslo it tells you that the house is at the beginning of the block when its really the last house on the block. but it does the job, but sometimes i wanaa throw it out the window.
ReplyDelete2 years from now kids are not even gonna kno how to use a map. They gonna look at it like whats this and wipe there as* with it.
ReplyDeleteyeah its good to be able to call at anytime. but even now people with cell phone dont pick up. they text you back saying whats up. chosing to text instead of talking. but i hate relying on tech, image if we lost all communications, does anyone have and idea what we going to do?
